Mechanism study of hollow-structured MOFs improving catalytic performance
Abstract Hollow-structured metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) often exhibit higher catalytic activity than their solid counterparts, but the mechanism behind this enhancement remains controversial due to the lack of direct experimental evidence. Using ZIF-8 as a model system, this study employs in situ fluorescence imaging to monitor the catalytic process in real time, providing direct visual evidence for the diffusion-separation mechanism in hollow MOF particles.
Effect of Cyclic Freeze-Thaw Treatments on Progressive Failure Characteristics and Local Damage of Granite
Rock deterioration induced by freeze–thaw (FT) weathering threatens the stability and safety of rock engineering in cold areas. To investigate the effect of cyclic FT treatments on progressive failure characteristics and damage evolution of rocks, the uniaxial compression test and digital image correlation technology were conducted on granite specimens treated with different FT cycles.
Dual impacts of serine/glycine-free diet in enhancing antitumor immunity and promoting evasion via PD-L1 lactylation

Main text (Cell Metabolism 36, 2493–2510.e1–e9; December 3, 2024) In the section “Correlation of the –SG diet with clinical responses, metabolism, and immunity,” the number of patients who achieved partial response (PR) was 4 (corresponding to the four green bars in Figures 7E and 7F), not 5 as the text originally indicated. Figure 7E presented data from only 19 patients (whereas the main text described 20 patients). This discrepancy arose because patient no.
