Abstract Purpose To investigate the effect of capsular tension ring (CTR) implantation on postoperative rotational stability and visual performance of a plate-haptic multifocal toric intraocular lens in highly and non-highly myopic eyes. Methods Consecutive cataract patients intended for phacoemulsification and plate-haptic multifocal toric IOL (AT LISA 909 M) implantation were enrolled and randomized to receive either co-implantation of a CTR or not.

Bioreducible Poly(Urethane Amine)s for Robust Nucleic Acid Transfection in Stem Cells It remains a challenge in search of cationic polymeric carriers enabling robust gene transfection against stem cells. Herein, linear bioreducible poly(urethane amine)s (denoted as SSPUAs) with repeated disulfide and protonable amino groups were prepared and used as non-viral vectors for in vitro gene transfection of different stem cells.
