Repurposing molecular imaging to map drug targets in vivo
Abstract Understanding where drug targets are expressed in the human body is essential for precision medicine, yet this information is difficult to obtain in living patients. Molecular imaging offers a non-invasive way to visualize target expression, but its application remains fragmented. We aim to develop a systematic framework to link approved drugs, their molecular targets, and existing imaging agents, with a focus on repurposing imaging strategies for clinical use.
Frontiers | Development and validation of a predictive nomogram for cerebral white matter hyperintensities: insights from a comprehensive clinical and laboratory analysis
ORIGINAL RESEARCH article Volume 19 - 2025 | https://doi.org/10.3389/fnins.2025.1642057 Introduction Cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD), a crucial neurological disorder, presents a significant challenge to public health worldwide, especially in the aging population. CSVD is intricately linked to a range of severe outcomes, including stroke and cognitive decline, making its early detection and management imperative (Cannistraro et al., 2019; Duering et al., 2023; Wardlaw et al., 2019).
Correction to “LyP-1-Modified Multifunctional Dendrimers for Targeted Antitumor and Antimetastasis Therapy”
In our original article, Figure 8(d) displays an incorrect image of “G5.NHAc-HPAO-(PEG-MAL)” in the experimental group, which was mistakenly replaced with the control image during figure assembly. The revised graphic below presents the original experimental data for MMP-9 expression in the “G5.NHAc-HPAO-(PEG-MAL)” group. These corrections do not affect the overall results, interpretations, or conclusions of the study.
