Sociodemographic characteristics and life satisfaction of patients who had a stroke Table 1 shows the descriptive results of sociodemographic characteristics and the univariate analysis results of their relationship with life satisfaction. Of 1154 participants, 959 (83.1%) were satisfied with their lives, while 195 (16.9%) were not satisfied. Most (76.6%) of the participants were aged 60 or above, and 52.8% were males; 76.9% were married and lived with their spouse.
