Effects of meropenem plus ulinastatin on inflammatory response and complications in patients with severe septic shock
Abstract Aim: To evaluate whether receipt of ulinastatin in addition to meropenem-based standard care was associated with inflammatory, coagulation, perfusion, and clinical outcomes in patients with severe septic shock. Methods: This single-center retrospective, non-randomized comparative cohort study included 106 consecutive patients with severe septic shock treated between January 2023 and November 2025.

Abstract Background: Propofol is the most frequently administered intravenous anesthetic in painless gastroscopy. Oliceridine, a novel μ-opioid receptor agonist, exhibits analgesic effects while reducing adverse reactions. The combination of propofol and oliceridine has shown promising efficacy in clinical practice. However, the exploration of the specific effective dosage of oliceridine in painless gastroscopy is still in its early stages.
