Urinary bisphenol exposure and risk of type 1 diabetes and glycemic traits in Chinese children: a case–control study
Abstract Background: Bisphenol A (BPA) and its structural analogs, bisphenol F (BPF) and bisphenol S (BPS), are widely used in consumer products and increasingly detected in children. Although BPA has been linked to diabetes and impaired glucose metabolism in adults, evidence for BPF and BPS, particularly in the pediatric population, remains limited and inconsistent.
Integrating memory-guided saccades and EEG for MCI screening: a multimodal LASSO modeling approach
Abstract Background: We investigated differences in memory-guided saccades (MGS) and electroencephalographic (EEG) spectral ratios between cognitively normal older adults and patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). A multimodal predictive model was developed to evaluate its potential for early MCI identification. Methods: We enrolled 60 participants (37 MCI, 23 controls) who underwent cognitive assessments, 32-channel resting-state EEG, and MGS testing.
Optical skyrmion and its “zipper-like” topological behavior in an energy flux field
The optical skyrmion and its topological behavior are analyzed in an energy flux field constructed by an X-type vortex in a high numerical aperture system. The conditions for the formation of a skyrmion structure in this field are discussed, showing that the vortex pattern of the transverse energy flow and the inverse energy flow are crucial for the skyrmions and also are controlled by the phase gradient of the X-type vortex.
