1 Introduction Post-stroke spasticity (PSS), a common motor and sensory disorder that occurs at various stages after a stroke, represents a major clinical challenge in neurorehabilitation (Chen et al. 2025). As the most prevalent type of cerebrovascular accident, cerebral infarction induces upper motor neuron damage, characterized by intermittent or persistent increases in hypertonic stretch reflexes and tendon hyperreflexia (Bavikatte et al. 2021).
