1 INTRODUCTION Lung cancer manifests as a highly invasive and metastatic cancerous growth that originates from the bronchial mucosa or glands within the lungs.1 Significantly, among malignant tumors, it exhibits the second highest incidence rate in both men and women and has the highest mortality rate.2 Pathologically, lung cancer is categorized into small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
