ALG1-mediated PDL1 glycosylation drives macrophage m2 polarization to promote bladder cancer progression
Abstract Asparagine-linked glycosylation protein 1 homolog (ALG1), a β-1,4-mannosyltransferase, catalyzes the initial committed step of the N-glycosylation pathway. While its role in congenital glycosylation disorders is well established, the contribution of ALG1 to bladder cancer (BC) progression, particularly its impact on the tumor immune microenvironment, remains poorly understood. In this multi-omics study, we delineated the pathological significance and molecular mechanisms of ALG1 in BC.

Improved Atmosphere‐Ocean Coupled Simulation by Parameterizing Sub‐Diurnal Scale Air‐Sea Interactions
1 Introduction The Earth's climate is a complex and coupled system with many components, including the ocean, sea ice, atmosphere, and land. There are many important interactions among the different components (Peixoto & Oort, 1992; Schmitt, 1995).
Effects of additional ring-fusion site on dual reactivity based dynamic covalent chemistry
Over the past decade the field of dynamic covalent chemistry (DCC) [1] is thriving, which is based on the reversible formation, breakage, and exchange of covalent bonds. DCC extends the realm of classical supramolecular chemistry by combining the thermodynamic strength of traditional covalent bonds with the dynamic properties of non-covalent interactions, endowing molecular systems the properties of adaptivity, responsiveness, repairability, and degradability [2].
Tunable unconventional integer quantum Hall effect in two-dimensional Dirac-Weyl systems
Two-dimensional (2D) Dirac semimetals possess intriguing properties due to their low-energy excitations behaving like Dirac fermions. A hallmark of these materials is the unconventional integer quantum Hall effect (IQHE), originating from the quantized Berry phase of Dirac fermions. Herein, using symmetry analysis, tight-binding models, and numerical calculations, we reveal 2D Dirac-Weyl fermions in inversion symmetry breaking systems that exhibit tunable unconventional IQHE.

Investigation of Ionospheric Small‐Scale Plasma Structures Associated With Particle Precipitation
1 Introduction Particle precipitation into the E and F-region ionosphere can cause plasma irregularities and structuring on various scales (Alfonsi et al., 2022; Dahlgren et al., 2017; De Franceschi et al., 2019; Enengl et al., 2023; Fæhn Follestad et al., 2020; Jin et al., 2016; Moen et al., 2013; Urbar et al., 2022; van der Meeren et al., 2015; Zou et al., 2013).
VOF study of mesoscale bubble flow dynamics in the side-blown gas-liquid two-phase reactor
Gas-liquid multiphase systems featuring gas-submerged injection are frequently encountered in chemical engineering, energy production, and metallurgy. Based on the injection approaches, gas–liquid reactors can be generally divided into three main types: top-blown, side-blown, and bottom-blown.

Decoupling of the many-body effects from the electron mass in GaAs by means of reduced dimensionality
Abstract Determining the (bare) electron mass m0 in crystals is often hindered by many-body effects since Fermi-liquid physics renormalizes the band mass, making the observed effective mass m* depend on density. Here, we use a one-dimensional (1D) geometry to amplify the effect of interactions, forcing the electrons to form a nonlinear Luttinger liquid with separate holon and spinon bands, therefore separating the interaction effects from m0.

Zero air pollution and zero carbon from all energy at low cost and without blackouts in variable weather throughout the U.S. with 100% wind-water-solar and storage
The United States is currently undergoing a slow but consistent transition to clean, renewable energy. We define clean, renewable energy as energy that is both clean (emits zero health- and climate-affecting air pollutants when consumed) and renewable (has a source that continuously replenishes the energy). We call energy sources that meet these criteria Wind-Water-Solar (WWS) sources.
Momentum-dependent power law measured in an interacting quantum wire beyond the Luttinger limit
Abstract Power laws in physics have until now always been associated with a scale invariance originating from the absence of a length scale. Recently, an emergent invariance even in the presence of a length scale has been predicted by the newly-developed nonlinear-Luttinger-liquid theory for a one-dimensional (1D) quantum fluid at finite energy and momentum, at which the particle’s wavelength provides the length scale.
Use of olmesartan and enteropathy outcomes: a multi-database study
Multiple case reports suggest that olmesartan may be linked to sprue-like enteropathy; however, few epidemiological studies have examined this association and results have been mixed. To assess whether olmesartan is associated with a higher rate of enteropathy vs other angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). We conducted a cohort study among ARB initiators in 5 US claims databases representing different health insurance programmes.
Diet selection and n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid deposition in lambs as affected by restricted time at pasture
This study investigated the changes in lamb foraging selectivity in response to increasing restriction of the time at pasture and increasing supplementation of forage with concentrate and pasture hay. The primary aim was to determine the influence of the different grazing scenarios on FA composition in the diet and resulting lamb meat. The feed quality attributes of the pasture and supplementary feeds in this experiment were similar to high-quality alfalfa. The average value of CP in A.

Association between plasma interleukin-17 levels and risk of psoriasis: a meta-analysis
Emerging evidence indicates that plasma interleukin (IL)-17 levels may be associated with increased risk of psoriasis, but the individual published results are inconclusive. To evaluate IL-17 levels in patients with psoriasis using a meta-analysis of studies comparing IL-17 levels in controls and in patients with psoriasis. All relevant studies were identified by searching PubMed, Web of Science and MEDLINE databases before 1 November 2015.
Nonlinear spectra of spinons and holons in short GaAs quantum wires
Our device (Fig. 1) consists of a double GaAs quantum-well structure separated by a thin AlGaAs barrier, and various surface gates, among them an array of 1 μm-long wire gates (WG) interconnected with air bridges (Fig. 2). We apply a negative voltage V to the wire gates, which is strong enough to pinch off (fully deplete) the upper-well (UW) regions under the wire gates, but not strong enough to pinch off the lower-well (LW) regions under the wire gates.
