Wafer-scale 2D MoS₂ transistors with sub-5 nm channel length and subthreshold performance beyond the silicon limit
Abstract The downscaling of silicon field-effect transistors is approaching fundamental limits, with the international roadmap for devices and systems (IRDS) projecting a 12 nm channel length plateau by 2037. Two-dimensional (2D) semiconductors have emerged as promising candidates for extended transistor scaling. However, no experimental demonstration has thus far surpassed the fundamental switching limits of advanced silicon.

Phenanthrenes synthesis via Rh(Ⅲ)-Catalyzed formal [4+2] oxidative annulation of (2-arylphenyl)boronic acids with norbornadiene
Phenanthrenes, a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) molecule, widely presented in natural products [1], pharmaceuticals [2], and material sciences [3]. For instances, representative compounds I–IV have biological and pharmacological activities, such as anti–cancer, anti–fungal, anti–inflammatory and anti–psychotic properties (Fig. 1) [4]. Phenanthrenes show good electrochemical and photochemical properties because of the effect of extended π–conjugated systems [5].
ATSIU: A large-scale dataset for spoken instruction understanding in air traffic control
Air travel relies on air traffic control (ATC), which is a complex time-varying and highly human-dependent system [1], [2]. The cornerstone of ATC involves the spoken instruction communication between air traffic controllers (ATCOs) and pilots [3], [4]. As illustrated in the left part of Fig.
A new concept, to the best of our knowledge, of the unique Berry phase (UBP) for identifying the topological nature of one-dimensional (1D) topological photonic systems is presented. The advantage of this concept compared to the typical Zak phase (TZP) is that the origin position can be chosen arbitrarily. Traditionally, there are always two inversion centers for a 1D binary photonic system with inversion symmetry.

Dual-emission mechanism for tunable white light emission from an economical OIHMH crystal of (TEA)2ZnCl4:Sb3+
The quest for sustainable and environmentally friendly materials has led to a surge in research on organic–inorganic hybrid metal halides (OIHMHs). These materials, known for their unique properties such as tunable bandgaps, high quantum yields, and excellent stability, have been extensively explored for applications in solid-state lighting, displays, anti-counterfeit, and X-ray scintillation [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7].
Evidence of a 4.33 billion year age for the Moon’s South Pole–Aitken basin - Nature Astronomy
Abstract The Moon’s farside South Pole–Aitken (SPA) basin is the largest and oldest visible impact basin in the inner Solar System. Determining the timing of this catastrophic event is key to understanding the onset of the lunar basin-forming epoch, with implications for understanding the impact bombardment history of the inner Solar System. Despite this, the formation age of the SPA basin remains poorly constrained.

Hip contact forces during walking in football players with and without hip/groin pain
Introduction: Evidence highlights that people with established joint pathology (i.e., hip osteoarthritis) adopt movement strategies to reduce joint loading. However, it is unknown whether lower joint loading is present in individuals early in the disease continuum (e.g., young people with hip/groin pain). We sought to compare hip contact forces (HCFs) during walking between football players with and without hip/groin pain.

Dysregulation of macrophage PEPD in obesity determines adipose tissue fibro-inflammation and insulin resistance - Nature Metabolism
Abstract Resulting from impaired collagen turnover, fibrosis is a hallmark of adipose tissue (AT) dysfunction and obesity-associated insulin resistance (IR). Prolidase, also known as peptidase D (PEPD), plays a vital role in collagen turnover by degrading proline-containing dipeptides but its specific functional relevance in AT is unknown.

Colossal Thermoelectric Enhancement in Cu2+xZn1-xSnS4 solid solution by local disordering of crystal lattice and multi-scale defect engineering Qinghui Jiang, Haixue Yan, Y. H. Lin, Yang Shen, Junyou Yang and Mike Reece Abstract Polycrystalline sulfides are promising thermoelectric materials because of their abundance, non-toxicity, and low cost. However, their low thermoelectric performance hampers their possible large-scale industrial application.
Frequency-comb spectroscopy on pure quantum states of a single molecular ion
Precision spectroscopy with single ions Spectroscopy is a powerful tool that can identify chemical species used in a wide range of settings. Usually, the samples are formed of ensembles, and this can limit the resolution with which the different species can be detected or identified. Chou et al. demonstrate an optical frequency comb technique with a single pair of trapped ions, Ca+ and CaH+, to obtain the rotational spectrum of a single trapped ion, CaH+.

Does Lindioil (Indirubin) treatment affect the composition of Malassezia species on psoriatic skin?
We would like to thank Dr. Gaitanis and co‐authors for their interest in our study. To date, many studies have investigated the role of the microbiome in chronic skin inflammatory diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. M. restricta and globosa are the two main species of the all Malassezia yeast and the most common fungi on psoriatic skin. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
Effect of substrate curvature on microstructure and gas permeability of hollow fiber MFI zeolite membranes
Literature data show that gas permeability of MFI zeolite membrane varies depending on the geometry of supports. The present work investigates the effects of the surface curvature of substrates on the microstructure and the gas permeation property of supported zeolite membranes. MFI zeolite membranes were grown on porous alumina hollow fibers with different diameters (surface curvature) by the secondary growth method.

After 2-week capsaicin treatment, IENF density of skin was markedly reduced with reduced amplitude and prolonged latency of CHEP, and increased warm and heat pain thresholds. Comparison of indirubin concentrations in indigo naturalis ointment for psoriasis treatment: a randomized, double-blind, dosage-controlled trial
Corticosteroids are commonly used topical (applied to the skin) therapies in psoriasis; although beneficial, there are concerns about their prolonged use and there is a need for effective alternatives. Many herbal remedies have been used topically, although evidence for their benefit is often limited. Indigo naturalis has been used for several years in Chinese traditional medicine; unfortunately, when taken by mouth it can cause gastro-intestinal side effects or liver damage.
