AI-Driven Construction Safety: A Game-Theoretic Analysis of Investment Willingness
: Journal of Management in Engineering Volume 42, Issue 3 Practical Applications AI-based tools can improve construction safety, but many organizations hesitate to invest because stakeholders face different costs, risks, and benefits. This study develops a behavioral game model for three players—government regulatory authorities, AI technology suppliers, and construction companies—calibrated with data from AI safety initiatives.
Frontiers | Upregulation of interferon-γ activation in patients with anti-interferon-γ autoantibodies immunodeficiency syndrome: insights from single-cell analysis
Introduction Anti-interferon-γ autoantibodies (AIGAs) immunodeficiency syndrome is an emerging immunodeficiency disorder primarily affecting adults, characterized by opportunistic disseminated infections due to neutralizing AIGAs (1, 2). Interferon-gamma (IFN-γ), which is mainly secreted by macrophages, CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, and natural killer (NK) cells, plays a crucial role in immune responses and defense against intracellular pathogen infections (3).
Timing of posterior capsular rupture during cataract surgery - Eye
Abstract The main aim of this study was to describe the stage at which posterior capsular rupture (PCR) occurred during cataract surgery and the association with anterior capsular (AC) tears. This was a retrospective, observational cross-sectional study of all cataract surgeries conducted in Moorfields Eye Hospital complicated by PCR, between January 2014 and December 2018. The primary outcome measure was the stage of cataract surgery in which PCR occurred.

Transcription factor PBX4 regulates limb development and haematopoiesis in mice
1 INTRODUCTION The homeodomain (HD)-containing Hox proteins are transcription factors and the major architects of the body plan during development throughout the animal kingdom.1 They are defined by a highly conserved DNA-binding HD that binds to a TAAT core sequence, which occurs approximately once every 500 base pair within the genome.2 However, different Hox proteins are able to trigger very specific developmental programs.

Introduction Female lower genital tract diseases, mainly including vulvar and vaginal abnormalities, represent a wide spectrum of diseases (e.g. benign tumors, malignancies, and developmental conditions). Vulvar cancer is the fourth most common gynecologic malignancy.1–4 Both translabial and transperineal ultrasound are modalities of choice for the first evaluation of perineal lesions.
Addressing Individual Perception: Extending the Technology Acceptance Model to the Interim Payment Method in Construction Projects
Abstract : An increasing trend in late payment and nonpayment of construction projects would hinder the sustainable development of projects by impeding progress or causing disputes. Although the interim payment method is a good practice to solve payment-related problems of construction projects, its acceptance rate is low, and studies on it are few.

Simultaneous phase-shifting interferometer with a monitored spatial light modulator flexible reference mirror
Abstract A simultaneous phase-shifting interferometer with a monitored spatial light modulator (SLM) flexible reference mirror is proposed to balance the flexibility and accuracy of aspheric-surface in-process measurements. In this method, polarization simultaneous phase-shifting camera systems are applied to reduce the influence of environmental vibrations on the in-process measurements. An SLM reference mirror is employed to improve the flexibility of in-process measurements.

A polymorphism within the R-spondin 2 gene predicts outcome in metastatic colorectal cancer patients treated with FOLFIRI/bevacizumab: data from FIRE-3 and TRIBE trials
Highlights • Markers predicting efficacy of bevacizumab in metastatic colon cancer are warranted. • R-spondins play a role in angiogenesis and progression of colorectal cancer. • R-spondins exert their oncogenic role through activation of the Wnt pathway. • A polymorphism in RSPO2 predicts outcome in patients receiving FOLFIRI/bevacizumab. • Potential to identify patients who will benefit most from FOLFIRI/bevacizumab.

Four new lanthanide-organic frameworks: the selective luminescent sensing and magnetic properties
Four new isostructural lanthanide-organic frameworks, [Ln(L)(H O) ]•H O•CH CN (1-Ln) (Ln = Eu, Tb, Dy, and Gd), have been successfully synthesized via solvothermal reaction by a flexible semi-rigid V-shaped multicarboxylate ligand 2-(2',4'-dicarboxylphenoxy)benzoic acid (H L) and Ln(NO3)3•6H2O. 1-Ln show the 2D layer-by-layer frameworks with interlayer channels decorated by the carboxylate groups.
