Association between apolipoprotein B/A1 ratio with heart failure severity in HFrEF, HFmrEF, and HFpEF
Abstract Apolipoprotein (apo) B and apo A1 are major protein components of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) particles, which are closely linked to lipid metabolism, atherosclerosis, and endothelial function. We investigated whether the circulating apoB/A1 ratio could serve as a potential metabolic risk factor for the severity of chronic heart failure (HF) with multiple etiologies.
Natural gas geology and exploration potential of the continental marginal deep-water areas in the Neo-Tethys tectonic domain
Abstract The deep-water basins within the continental margin of Neo-Tethys tectonic domain have been divided into three major sections. The coal-bearing strata serves as the primary hydrocarbon source rock, the marine shale is the secondary source rock. The marine delta sandstone and turbidite sandstone serve as the main reservoirs. The main caprocks are Lower Cretaceous shale and Neogene mudstone.
Diversified crop rotation reshapes soil nutrients, microbial communities, and functions in sorghum fields
Abstract Introduction: Long-term continuous sorghum cropping degrades soil environments and causes continuous cropping obstacles. This study investigated whether diversified crop rotation can maintain soil health and improve the soil microenvironment for sorghum growth. Methods: Using continuous sorghum cropping as the control (SSS), three rotation systems were established: sorghum-potato-sorghum (SPS), sorghum-common vetch-sorghum (SVS), and sorghum-green pea shoots-sorghum (SGS).
VyMYB258, A MYB Transcription Factor From Vitis yanshanensis , Enhances Drought Tolerance by Activating the Lignin Biosynthesis Pathway
1 Introduction Drought stress is among the most critical abiotic constraints on crop productivity. Water deficit adversely affects plant physiological metabolism and growth development (Cao et al. 2024). Plants have evolved diverse and interconnected regulatory mechanisms to adapt to drought stress.

Improving immune function and mitochondrial health in patients undergoing hemodialysis: benefits of combining high-flux dialysis with hemoperfusion
Abstract Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effects of combining hemoperfusion (HP) with high-flux hemodialysis (HFD) on T lymphocyte subsets, mitochondrial health, and clinical outcomes in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis (MHD). Methods: In this single-center, prospective, self-controlled trial, 20 MHD patients received their regular HFD treatment, with the addition of a single HP session every 2 weeks for 12 sessions.

Methods: A total of 38,863 new students in 2025 were selected as the study subjects and underwent standardized PPD skin tests.
A Novel Simplified Prognostic Model for 90-day Transplant-free Survival in Patients with Severe Acute Liver Injury/Acute Liver Failure
Severe acute liver injury (SLI) represents a critical stage in the progression of acute liver disease. It is generally defined as acute liver injury characterized by a marked elevation of serum transaminases accompanied by severe coagulopathy (international normalized ratio [INR] ≥ 1.5) in patients without pre-existing chronic liver disease. The majority of patients with SLI may recover with appropriate treatment.

Gut dysbiosis and immune dysfunction induced by chronic cola replacement of water in rats: not just a sugar problem
1 Introduction In recent years, the global prevalence of metabolic diseases such as obesity and diabetes has drawn significant attention to dietary health issues. High-sugar diets have become a research focus due to their strong association with chronic diseases (1). The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends that daily free sugar intake should be less than 10% of total energy intake. However, overconsumption of sugar-sweetened beverages remains prevalent (2).
Super‐Robust Telecommunications Enabled by Topological Half‐Supermodes
1 Introduction Waveguiding devices [1, 2] for advanced wireless communications systems form essential components of modern high-frequency systems, enabling critical applications from 5G/6G networks to satellite communications and radar systems [3-5]. Among these, rectangular waveguides represent the gold standard due to their exceptional shielding, low signal attenuation, and high-power handling capability [6, 7].
Time-resolved multiomics profiling reveals chromatin O-GlcNAc modification promotes senescence-associated transcriptional program - Nature Communications
Abstract O-GlcNAc modification is a key cellular signal, but its role in regulating senescence-associated transcription remains poorly understood. Here, we apply a time-resolved chemical genomics strategy to map dynamic O-GlcNAc chromatin-associated proteins (OCPs) during oncogene-induced senescence (OIS) in primary human fibroblasts.
Temperature-humidity synergistic effects on predominant intestinal infectious diseases in Shenzhen, China: A predictive modeling framework for epidemiological early warning systems
To eliminate the potential bias introduced by urban lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic, we constructed a random forest early warning model using incidence data prior to 2019 [32]. Specifically, incidence data from 2012 to 2016 were used as the training dataset to predict the incidence in 2017 and 2018 and issue corresponding warning signals.

Age‐related variations in clinical characteristics of patients with diabetic foot ulcers
INTRODUCTION Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) represent a severe complication of diabetes mellitus, often leading to prolonged morbidity, increased risk of infections, and higher rates of lower extremity amputations1. DFUs affect approximately 18.6 million people worldwide each year, with higher prevalence in older adults, and have a 5-year mortality rate of roughly 30%2.

A highly contiguous hexaploid wheat genome assembly facilitates analysis of 1RS translocation and mining of a new adult plant resistance locus to yellow rust disease
Abstract High-quality genome information is essential for efficiently deciphering and improving crop traits. Here we report a highly contiguous hexaploid genome assembly for the key wheat breeding parent Zhou8425B, an elite 1BL/1RS translocation line with durable adult plant resistance (APR) against rust diseases. By using HiFi and Hi-C sequencing reads, a 14.75 Gb genome assembly, with contig N50 and scaffold N50 values reaching 70.94 and 735.11 Mb, respectively, was developed.
