Review research progress, critical reflections and future prospects of digital care for chronic diseases
Abstract The global prevalence of chronic diseases is becoming increasingly severe, and traditional care models are confronted with multiple challenges, including uneven distribution of medical resources, insufficient continuity of care, and inadequate patient self-management capacity. The rapid iteration of digital technologies and the catalyst of the COVID-19 pandemic have driven chronic disease care into a new phase of digital transformation.
Efficacy and safety of bevacizumab plus XELOX in patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic neuroendocrine tumors
Abstract Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are highly vascularized malignancies for which effective treatment options remain limited in the unresectable locally advanced or metastatic setting. Although platinum-based chemotherapy has demonstrated antitumor activity in advanced NETs, evidence supporting its combination with antiangiogenic therapy remains insufficient.
Structural design and mechanical properties analysis of a wood bed based on the finite element method
Abstract People spend a substantial proportion of their daily rest time in bed, making sound structural design essential for user health and safety. In this study, a wood bed was modelled and evaluated using the finite element method (FEM) to assess mechanical strength, fatigue properties, and drop-impact behavior under different loading conditions.
Factors in Yunnan-Tibet door aesthetics: object attributes, individual differences, and visual attractiveness
Abstract As living heritage actively used by communities, entrance doors in the Yunnan-Tibet region embody “hybrid aesthetics” from multi-ethnic Tibetan-Han-Bai craft integration, yet how material authenticity and communal meaning shape visual aesthetic mechanisms remains empirically unexplored.

Main text (Cell 186, 5328–5346.e1–e12; November 22, 2023) In the originally published version of this article, we noted two errors: Figure S2D erroneously showed the same graph as in Figure 1C. The error was introduced by the authors when replacing the low-resolution graphs used during the review process with high-resolution editable versions for final publication.

A Study on the Architectural Form and Characteristics of Tusi Manors in the Yunnan-Tibet Region
1. Introduction Traditional Chinese timber-framed architecture, as an outstanding example of China’s historical and cultural heritage [1], embodies scientific value and ecological wisdom in construction that can provide references for the sustainable development of modern timber structures. Studies by numerous scholars worldwide have demonstrated that historic buildings serve as vital carriers of traditional culture [2,3,4].

The Association of Human Milk Proportion with the Clinical Outcomes of Necrotizing Enterocolitis in Preterm Infants: A Retrospective Study
1. Introduction Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) is one of the most devastating diagnoses seen primarily in premature infants, which is associated with high morbidity and mortality [1]. NEC has an ambiguous onset and a rapid progression, making it difficult to detect in the early stages. It typically begins with symptoms like feeding intolerance or abdominal distention, which gradually escalate into severe complications such as neonatal sepsis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, and death.

Effects of oropharyngeal administration of colostrum on the incidence of necrotizing enterocolitis, late-onset sepsis, and death in preterm infants: a meta-analysis of RCTs
Abstract Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) and late-onset sepsis (LOS) are two major contributors to death among preterm infants. Oropharyngeal administration of colostrum (OAC) has been proved as an easy, safe, and economically viable technique to help preterm neonates to build up their immunity. In this review, we assessed the effects of OAC on preterm infants.
