Theoretical framework for confined ion transport in two-dimensional nanochannels - Nature Communications
Abstract Quantitative understanding of ion transport mechanism is crucial for numerous applications of two-dimensional (2D) nanochannels, but is far from being resolved. Here, we formulated a theoretical framework for both self-diffusion and electromigration of hydrated monatomic ions in various 2D nanochannels (e.g. graphene, h-BN, g-C3N4, MoS2), by molecular dynamics simulations.
Correction to “Self-Crosslinked MXene (Ti3C2Tx) Membranes with Good Antiswelling Property for Monovalent Metal Ion Exclusion”
In the published article, the scale bar of Figure 2c was wrong. According to the original SEM image data, a correct version of the image for Figure 2c has been updated; the other elements of the figure remain the same, and the results and conclusions of this paper were not affected by this correction. Additionally, in the figure captions of Figure 2a, f, “power” should be revised to “powder”.
Fast‐current‐driven synthesis of ultrathin ZIF‐8 membrane on ceramic tube for propene/propane separation
Abstract MOF membranes are very promising in molecular separation, but it is still a challenge for industrial applications due to the complex and time-consuming synthesis. We use the fast current-driven synthesis (FCDS) method to achieve controlled growth of ZIF-8 membranes on porous graphite-coated ceramic tubes by controlling the growth time and current density.
