JARID2 promotes prostate cancer progression associated with TET3-mediated activation of the FAK/PI3K/AKT signaling pathway
Abstract JARID2, a regulatory Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 (PRC2) component, has diverse roles in cancer development, yet its function in prostate cancer (PCa) remains unclear. We analyzed JARID2 expression using TCGA-PRAD data and clinical samples. Functional assays, including CCK-8, wound healing, and Transwell assays, were conducted to assess the influence of JARID2 overexpression or knockdown in PCa cell lines.
Arginine methylation coordinates with phosphorylation to control NADP + synthesis
Abstract The NAD(H)/NADP(H) ratio is essential for maintaining cellular redox homeostasis. NAD kinase (NADK) is the sole cytosolic enzyme responsible for converting NAD+ to NADP+. Dysregulation of NADK has been linked to aging and cancer; however, the underlying regulatory mechanisms remain poorly understood. Here, we show that NADP+ synthesis is markedly suppressed in mice fed a high-fat diet.

Glucocorticoids elevate clear cell renal cell carcinoma sensitivity to HIF-2α inhibitors by suppressing H4K12 lactylation
|
Abstract Approximately 70% of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) patients harbor von Hippel‒Lindau (VHL) deficiency, which drives pseudohypoxia and metabolic reprogramming. Here, we report a histone H4 lysine 12 lactylation (H4K12la)-fueled phosphoglycerate kinase 1 (PGK1)-lactate positive feedback loop that sustains glycolytic flux in VHL-deficient ccRCC and is pharmacologically disruptable by glucocorticoids.

CardioEHR: A longitudinal electronic health record dataset of cardiovascular patients from central China - Scientific Data
Abstract We present a longitudinal electronic health record (EHR) dataset from Wuhan Union Hospital, compiled from two distinct hospital information systems. The first dataset, derived from a legacy system, includes 35,243 patients and covers the period from 2010 to 2020. The second dataset, collected via the research-oriented YIDUYUN system, includes 37,975 patients and spans from 2011 to 2024.

Regulation of partial endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition by circATXN1 in ischemic diseases - Nature Communications
Abstract Ischemic injury induces a partial mesenchymal shift in endothelial cells (ECs), contributing to impaired vascular regeneration. However, the molecular regulators of this transitional state remain poorly defined. To address this, we performed circular RNA profiling of endothelial cells under ischemic-like conditions and identified a marked upregulation of a circular RNA, named circATXN1.

Identification of a basement membrane-related genes signature with immune correlation in bladder urothelial carcinoma and verification in vitro - BMC Cancer
We obtained mRNA expression and relevant clinical information for 412 BLCA samples and 19 normal bladder tissues from the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA, https://portal.gdc.cancer.gov/) database. 224 BM-related genes were retrieved from one previous research [11], and the specific genes are shown in Table S1. We also downloaded GSE48276 and GSE48277 including 141 BLCA samples from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/) database to validate the signature.

Cu‐Modified Ti3C2Cl2 MXene with Zincophilic and Hydrophobic Characteristics as a Protective Coating for Highly Stable Zn Anode
Abstract Zn anode is a promising candidate for aqueous batteries, but suffers from the dendrite growth and side reaction issues, leading to short cycling life and unsatisfactory reversibility. Herein, a Cu-modified Ti3C2Cl2 MXene (Cu-MXene) with high zincophilic and hydrophobic property is prepared with a one-step molten salt etching method.
