At 5:30pm on the first day at Lord’s, Stokes and McCullum’s second unofficial reset was not going well. Under murky skies, New Zealand’s three-man pace attack dismantled a tepid England top order. For the fourth time in six Tests England were skittled in under 40 overs. Knives that were perhaps briefly returned to their sheaths were primed ready to strike again. Fast forward 17 minutes and the scene is somewhat different.

A second year exam went catastrophically wrong this morning, as the answers for the multiple choice questions had been written in bold on the papers. The 'Microorganisms, Immunity and Infection 2' exam had a multiple choice section worth 65 per cent, and an essay section worth 35 per cent. As some of the papers had the correct answers written in bold on them, it meant this entire section has been discounted, and now the essay is worth a whopping 100 per cent of the mark.

A number of racist comments were allegedly made to a black student at a Diagnostic Society event in Edinburgh last month, causing one member of the society to resign from their position. A student present at the event told The Tab one black student was told to "go back to Uganda, you slave", after he had previously been addressed as an "African dictator." The event took place on March 15th and was jointly held with Edinburgh's Debates Union.
