Why did you become a journalist?
I think I just like to have my voice heard. It's satisfying to express my opinions or ideas and have it impact or resonate with someone else.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yes! I was a political columnist. I even won a "Best Opinion Writer" award. Writing for the paper was what made me want to pursue journalism.
What's your favorite drink?
Indian masala chai, especially the way my dad makes it.
