Deficiency of non-muscle myosin IIA promotes neuroinflammation by impairing autophagic degradation of VCAM-1 in brain endothelium
Abstract Endothelial cell dysfunction is a major driver of neuroinflammation, a critical contributor to neurological disorders. Non-muscle myosin IIA (NMIIA), a key cytoskeletal protein, has been implicated in cerebrovascular pathology, but its role in endothelial-mediated neuroinflammation remains unclear. This study reveals that NMIIA expression is downregulated in brain microvascular endothelial cells during aging.
Self-Distillation with Verbal Regularization
Abstract On-policy self-distillation (OPSD) trains a large language model using supervision from a teacher instantiated from the same model as the student. The teacher is conditioned on privileged information (PI), such as verified solutions. The student, which does not observe PI, learns from the teacher's next-token distributions along its own sampled responses.

Exercise modulates behavioral and neural mechanisms of working memory in excessive short video users
Abstract Objective: This study examined the associations between different exercise habits, working memory performance, and prefrontal cortical activation patterns in male college students with excessive short video use. Methods: Eighty-two male college students were recruited. Behavioral tests and functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) were used to assess working memory performance and prefrontal oxygenated hemoglobin (OxyHb).
Steering large reasoning models towards concise reasoning via flow matching
Large Reasoning Models (LRMs) excel at complex reasoning tasks, but their efficiency is often hampered by overly verbose outputs. Prior steering methods attempt to address this issue by applying a single, global vector to hidden representations—an approach grounded in the restrictive linear representation hypothesis.
Temporal knowledge graph reasoning using global and recent history information
Abstract Since the static Knowledge Graph cannot meet the dynamics of knowledge in the real world, Temporal Knowledge Graph has become a potential method for processing temporal knowledge. However, Temporal Knowledge Graph still faces the problem of incompleteness. Hence knowledge completion has become the main reasoning task for computing the missing facts in Knowledge Graph.

A New Protection Strategy for Grid-Forming Renewable Power Outgoing Lines Using Characteristic Signal Amplitude Ratio
Submitted: 28 February 2026 You are already at the latest version Grid-forming (GFM) renewable energy sources are increasingly integrated into power grids to enhance the stability of high-penetration renewable energy systems, while the fault current characteristics of GFM-based outgoing lines lead to the inapplicability of conventional longitudinal differential protection, which suffers from reduced sensitivity or even refusal to operate under weak grid conditions.
The effect and safety of small-molecule antiviral drugs on long prognosis of post-COVID-19 pulmonary fibrosis: a real-world study in China
Introduction The management of persistent discomfort after acute coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has emerged as a primary concern. The resulting pulmonary fibrosis is one of the most common post-COVID-19 diagnoses (Babar et al., 2024), also named post-COVID-19 pulmonary fibrosis (PCPF) (Ambardar et al., 2021; Kostopanagiotou et al., 2022). Extensive clinical research has been performed in the last few years to explore mechanisms or risk factors associated with PCPF.
OTSU-UCAN: An OTSU-Based Integrated Satellite-Terrestrial Information System for 6G in Vehicle Navigation
Submitted: 03 November 2025 You are already at the latest version Privacy is one of the bottlenecks that hinder the applications (e.g. vehicle navigation) of blockchain-UCAN. A sharded blockchain protects the privacy of vehicle data to a certain extent. However, the unbalanced shard loads leads to low throughput, and the feature extraction in blockchain-UCAN is still poor.

CgABR1‐CgFAD negatively regulates the fruit neck length in citrus
Introduction Pummelo (Citrus maxima), also known by different names such as ‘Wendan’, ‘Xiangluan’ and ‘Pao’, is one of the most important fundamental species in Citrus (Wang et al., 2017). China is a primary centre of origin for pummelo and is rich in pummelo accessions (Yu et al., 2017). The fruit neck plays a crucial role in the quality and commercial value of pummelo.

Electrosynthesis of Atomically Precise Au Nanoclusters
1 Introduction Electrosynthesis uses electrical energy to drive chemical reactions, avoiding using some harsh oxidizing and reducing reagents.[1, 2] The magnitude and waveform of the electrical potential can be precisely tuned to adjust the reaction rate and selectivity. The merges of electrochemistry with organocatalysis, flow technique, and biochemistry open an even broader application prospect. Thanks to the advantages, recent decades have witnessed an ongoing renaissance of the field.

STdGCN: spatial transcriptomic cell-type deconvolution using graph convolutional networks - Genome Biology
To curate the datasets for benchmark, we conducted a thorough review of two published comparison studies on ST deconvolution [41, 52], as well as examined the models benchmarked in this study. After strict comparison process, we selected four datasets from four ST platforms, including seqFISH, MERFISH, seqFISH + , and slide-seq (Additional file 1: Table S13 [53,54,55]). These datasets were chosen because they offer single cell-level resolution.

Ammonia synthesis via a protonic ceramic electrolysis cell (PCEC) using LaCu0.1Fe0.9O3-δ catalyst
Ammonia synthesis via a protonic ceramic electrolysis cell (PCEC) using LaCu0.1Fe0.9O3-δ catalyst The development of electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) catalysts with high catalytic activity and high stability is a significant challenge. In this work, a LaCu0.1Fe0.9O3-δ (LCuF) electrocatalyst for NRR was developed based on B-site Cu doping in the LaFeO3 (LF) perovskite.
Visual search strategies of performance monitoring used in action anticipation of basketball players
1 INTRODUCTION Anticipation is crucial to expert performance in sport, such as getting a rebound during a basketball game (Williams & Jackson, 2019). Predicting the success or failure of shots can influence the team scores (Gómez et al., 2008). Action anticipation is the ability to predict an event's outcome (Abreu, 2014).
An Inspection Technique Using Fit Clearance Based on Microscopic Vision in Precision Assembly
1. Introduction Microscopic vision is commonly used for alignment in precision assembly and micromanipulation [1,2,3,4,5,6]. Additionally, inspection plays an important role in quality control as it directly affects the performance and reliability of the assembled products [7,8,9]. In an optic-mechanical device assembly, a part with micro multi-section arcs needs to be assembled into another part.

Agronomy | Free Full-Text | Performance of an Automatic Variable-Rate Fertilization System Subject to Different Initial Field Water Conditions and Fertilizer Doses in Paddy Fields
Abstract : High-performance fertilization equipment with high uniformity is essential for the improvement of fertilizer use efficiency in paddies. The performance of these fertigation systems might be affected by the initial field conditions and fertilizer doses. In this study, the uniformity of fertilization by an automatic system (SF) was investigated; the investigation had two initial field water conditions and fertilizer doses, and manual fertilization by farmers (FF) was used as the control.

Mycobacterium tuberculosis clinical isolates carry mutational signatures of host immune environments
Abstract Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) infection results in a spectrum of clinical and histopathologic manifestations. It has been proposed that the environmental and immune pressures associated with different contexts of infection have different consequences for the associated bacterial populations, affecting drug susceptibility and the emergence of resistance. However, there is little concrete evidence for this model.
