Research in context Evidence before this study We searched PubMed for studies containing keywords “COVID-19” OR “SARS-CoV-2” paired with “pregnancy” AND “retrospective cohort” on July 6, 2023. Studies were limited to those in English and those to which the authors had access to the full text of the manuscript. We found several studies on COVID-19 mRNA vaccination on maternal–fetal outcomes using electronic health records, government-compiled summary data, or insurance claims.
