1 Introduction Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most aggressive primary brain cancer, marked by diffuse infiltration, recurrence, and resistance to standard therapies. Even with maximal resection and chemoradiotherapy, median survival remains under 15 months [1-4]. Effective treatment is hindered by the blood–brain barrier (BBB), a selective endothelial interface that blocks most small molecules and virtually all macromolecular drugs [5-7].
