A nomogram as a predictive tool for lymph node metastasis in papillary thyroid carcinoma
Abstract Lymph node metastasis is the most prevalent form of spread in thyroid cancer, with surgical intervention and prophylactic cervical lymph node dissection being the standard treatments. However, there remains a lack of effective methods for predicting lymph node metastasis in clinical practice.
Environmental Drivers of Zooplankton Distribution and Community Assembly in the Eastern Indian Ocean During the Inter‐Monsoon
1 Introduction Zooplankton, small aquatic animals that drift with water currents (Xu, 2006), are commonly classified by particle size into micro-zooplankton (20–200 μm), meso-zooplankton (0.2–20 mm), and macro-zooplankton (>20 mm) (Hays et al., 2005). Zooplankton serve as a crucial intermediary in the marine food web (Mitra et al., 2014), play a key role in marine biogeochemical cycles (Sun et al., 2016) and exert significant influences on marine ecosystems (Calbet & Landry, 2004).
Hepatic hypertension on-a-chip identifies GPR116 as a hydrostatic pressure mechanosensor to regulate vascular injury in cirrhosis
Abstract Cirrhosis-associated portal hypertension drives vascular injury, yet the pathogenesis mediated by abnormal hydrostatic pressure (HP) remains unclear due to the absence of in vitro models replicating the cirrhotic perivascular mechanical microenvironment. Here, we developed 2D static and 3D dynamic “hepatic hypertension on-a-chip” (HH chip) systems replicating cirrhotic hemodynamics and matrix properties.

Stability Boundary Characterization and Power Quality Improvement for Distribution Networks
1. Introduction The growing penetration of renewable energy has led to the widespread application of grid-connected converters in power systems, which are divided into grid forming (GFM) and grid following (GFL) converters [1,2,3]. GFM converters need to control the frequency and voltage of the islanding system [4], while GFL converters can deliver constant power to the system to maximize the use of renewable energy generation [5,6].

Efficacy and safety of esketamine hydrochloride adjunct to sufentanil in non-surgical patients under mechanical ventilation in the ICU (SENSATION trial): protocol for a multicentre, single-blind, randomised controlled trial
Discussion Although the guidelines recommend the use of multimodal analgesia to reduce the adverse effects of opioids, only approximately one-third of mechanically ventilated ICU patients are administered non-opioids for pain management.5 20 This partly relates to the adverse effects of currently used non-opioids and the lack of solid evidence; therefore, it is necessary to expand the analgesic arsenal and to provide stronger evidence. Esketamine has the potential to reduce opioid consumption.

Causes of Vagally Mediated Paroxysmal Atrioventricular Block
Causes of Vagally Mediated Paroxysmal Atrioventricular Block To the Editor In a recent issue of JAMA Internal Medicine, Dr Zhou and colleagues1 presented an interesting and well-documented case of a patient whose Holter monitor revealed a 23.8-second ventricular asystole caused by paroxysmal atrioventricular block (PAVB). The authors convincingly demonstrated that the PAVB was the result of transient increase in parasympathetic tone rather than an intrinsic conduction system disease.

Impact Pressure Influence of Flood on Bridge Deck under Sediment Deposition Conditions: An Experimental Study
6. Conclusions In this study, we examined the effects of impact pressure and flow conditions on sediment accumulation under a bridge during flash floods. By testing varying sediment deposition heights and inflow conditions, we sought to unravel the intricate interplay between these factors and their consequences on horizontal pressure and flow fluctuations on the bridge deck.
Modified Continuous Arthroscopy-Guided Suprascapular Nerve Block for Postoperative Pain Control Following Rotator Cuff Repair: Surgical Technique
Abstract Arthroscopic rotator cuff repair is one of the most painful surgical procedures; patients complain of pain especially during the first 48 hours postoperatively. Pain management is an essential goal to reduce the demand for analgesic agents and patient discomfort. Various methods have been introduced for arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, including continuous arthroscopy-guided suprascapular nerve blocks (SSNB) and interscalene nerve blocks.

Computer Image-Guided Precise Acromioplasty for Reducing the Critical Shoulder Angle
Arthroscopic CIG-PAP After general anesthesia combined with brachial plexus block, the patient is placed in the lateral decubitus position with the arm in 30° abduction and with 10 pounds of traction. The bony landmarks are identified and marked, together with anterior, posterior, and lateral portals (Fig 2). After the posterior and anterior portals are created, a routine diagnostic arthroscopy is performed in the articular cavity.

High-efficiency luminescence in optical glass via the controllable crystallization of KYb3F10 nanocrystals depending on the dopants
Abstract A transparent glass ceramic (GC) is designed via the controllable precipitation of ${{\rm KYb}_3 {\rm F}_{10}}$ nanocrystals. It is shown that the crystallization in GC deeply depends on the doping of ${{\rm Yb}^{3 +}}$. ${{\rm Yb}^{3 +}}$ ions are spontaneously distributed in the fluoride crystal environments without the ionic substitution process of traditional GC. As a result, high-efficiency upconversion (UC) luminescence is achieved in GC.
How to Evaluate and Compare Thermochromic Performances of VO2-based Smart Coatings Properly
How to Evaluate and Compare Thermochromic Performances of VO2-based Smart Coatings Properly Vanadium dioxide (VO2) - based thermochromic coatings have been widely studied over four decades, and many studies have been reported to improve the thermochromic performances. Luminous transmittance (Tlum) and solar modulation ability (ΔTsol) are two important indexes to assess the optical performances of VO2-based smart coatings.

From Linear to Angular Isomers: Achieving Tunable Charge Transport in Single Crystal Indolocarbazoles via Delicate Synergetic CH/NH···Pi Interactions
Four five fused-ring isomers were rationally designed and synthesized to investigate the isomeric influence of linear and angular shapes in affecting their molecular packing and resultant electronic properties. Single-crystal field-effect transistors showed mobility order of 5,7-ICZ (3.61 cm2 V-1 s-1) > 5,11-ICZ (0.55 cm2 V-1 s-1) > 5,12-ICZ (~10-5 cm2 V-1 s-1) and 11,12-ICZ (~10-6 cm2 V-1 s-1).
Recent advances in ternary two dimensional materials: synthesis, properties and applications
Two-dimensional (2D) materials have gained significant attention owing to their unique physical and chemical properties, which arise mainly from their high surface-bulk ratios and topological effects. Since the discovery of graphene in 2004, the family of 2D materials has expanded rapidly. Thus far, several single-element 2D materials (graphene, phosphorene, etc.) have been reported; the majority contain two (MoS2, WSe2, etc.) or more elements (Mo2CTx, CrPS4, Bi2Sr2CaCu2Ox, etc.).
