Machine learning prediction of mitral regurgitation improvement after TAVI
Abstract The fate of mitral regurgitation after transcatheter aortic valve implantation is highly heterogeneous, and accurate preoperative prediction of mitral regurgitation improvement remains challenging. This study aimed to develop and validate a machine learning-based predictive model for regurgitation improvement following transcatheter aortic valve implantation.
Fucoidan from Pearsonothuria graeffei alleviates dyslipidemia in ApoE −/− mice by regulating reverse cholesterol transport and promoting bile acid synthesis
Abstract Background: The fucoidan extracted from sea cucumber Pearsonothuria graeffei (Fuc-Pg) has beneficial anti-inflammatory and lipid-lowering effects, suggesting its potential anti-atherosclerotic properties. Methods: ApoE−/− mice were fed a high-fat diet (HFD) for 12 weeks. Fuc-Pg (20 mg/kg and 80 mg/kg) was administered by oral gavage once daily.
KRAS/ERK2-driven stabilization of AARS1 reprograms tumor metabolism and confers Sorafenib resistance in lung adenocarcinoma
Abstract KRAS is the most frequently mutated oncogene in human cancers, and its G12C variant is highly prevalent in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) and predicts poor clinical outcomes. However, the metabolic mechanisms underlying KRAS-driven malignancy and therapeutic resistance remain incompletely understood. Here, we identify alanyl-tRNA synthetase 1 (AARS1) as a previously unrecognized metabolic effector of KRAS signaling.
