The effects of oral antioxidants on outcomes of assisted reproductive technology: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
Abstract Background: The clinical efficacy of antioxidants in assisted reproductive technology (ART) remains inconsistent. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the impact of oral antioxidant supplementation on reproductive outcomes in patients undergoing in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection-embryo transfer (IVF/ICSI-ET).
Pan-TRK expression and NTRK gene aberrations in meningiomas: association with tumor grade and proliferative activity
Introduction Tropomyosin receptor kinase (TRK) is a family of neurotrophic factor receptor proteins, encompassing three highly homologous isoforms: TRKA, TRKB, and TRKC. These receptors are encoded by the neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase (NTRK) genes NTRK1, NTRK2, and NTRK3, respectively [1-3]. Under physiological conditions, TRK family proteins are predominantly expressed in neural tissues, where they modulate neuronal differentiation, survival, axonogenesis, and dendritogenesis.
LMNA-NTRK1-rearranged spindle cell neoplasm with multiple relapses: a case report and literature review
CASE REPORT article Volume 12 - 2025 | https://doi.org/10.3389/fmed.2025.1691619 1 Introduction Neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase (NTRK)-rearranged spindle cell neoplasms (NTRK-RSCNs) are a recently recognized category of mesenchymal tumors, formally classified in the 2020 WHO Classification of Soft Tissue and Bone Tumors as distinct entities based on their molecular signature and therapeutic relevance (1).
