Stoichiometric FeTe is a superconductor
Abstract Iron-based superconductors (FeSCs) are a fascinating family of materials in which several electronic bands and strong antiferromagnetic (AFM) correlations are key ingredients for competing ground states1,2,3,4,5,6, including antiferromagnetism, electronic nematicity and unconventional superconductivity. FeTe, unlike its superconducting isostructural counterpart FeSe, has long been considered an AFM metal sans superconductivity7,8,9.
Meissner Effect and Nonreciprocal Charge Transport in Non‐Topological 1T‐CrTe2/FeTe Heterostructures
1 Main Text Over the past few decades, emergent phenomena at the interface of two different materials have attracted significant research attention due to their novel and often unexpected physical properties. For example, a 2D electron gas and superconductivity have been observed at the LaAlO3/SrTiO3 interface [1, 2]; the enhanced superconductivity has been achieved in monolayer FeSe/SrTiO3 heterostructures [3-6].
Universal Superconductivity in FeTe and All‐Iron‐Based Ferromagnetic Superconductor Heterostructures
1 Introduction Despite the strong exclusive natures between superconductivity (SC) and ferromagnetism (FM), researchers have long sought the possibility of coupling SC and FM states in the hope of discovering new phenomena and functionalities.[1-8] Particularly over the past decade, topological superconductors (TSC) harboring Majorana states have been attracting significant attention as a platform toward fault-tolerant topological quantum computation.[9-12] One of the promising ways to...
