Abstract Introduction: Epidemiological evidence confirms high-fat diet (HFD) as a key risk factor for colorectal cancer (CRC) progression. Aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR), a ligand-dependent nuclear transcription factor enriched in intestinal tissues, regulates intestinal metabolism and tumorigenesis. However, its role and mechanism in HFD-induced CRC progression remain unclear.
Comparative genomic and gene expression study of Dirigent genes in genus Dendrobium : a bioinformatics analysis
Abstract Dirigent (DIR) proteins guide lignan and lignin formation and play important roles in plant defense and stress responses. Although genome assemblies have been completed for several Dendrobium species, the functional characterization and expression patterns of DIR genes in this genus remain limited. In this study, comparative genomic and transcriptomic analyses of DIR genes were performed across 17 chromosome-level Dendrobium genomes.
