The study was carried out under the supervision of the Experimental Animal Ethics Committee of Northwest A&F University (Yangling, Shaanxi Province, China, No. NWAFU-20,220,108). Large white pigs (180-days-old) were obtained from the Northwest A&F University Experiment Station (Yangling, Shaanxi, China). Large white pigs (n = 4) were fasted for 24 h before slaughter but had free access to drinking water. The pigs were euthanized using electrical stunning and bled.
