Materials and Methods Bulk RNA-seq dataset GSE42611 was obtained from Gene Expression Omnibus repository (GEO, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/) for weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) and differentially expressed genes (DEGs) analysis [35]. GSE42611 contained 4 normal and 4 degenerative nucleus pulposus (NP) tissues.
