1. Introduction Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a common neurodegenerative disease and the most common cause of dementia. The pathological features of AD mainly include deposition of amyloid β-protein (Aβ) (Duyckaerts et al., 2009; Bloom, 2014; Jouanne et al., 2017), neurofibrillary tangles caused by hyperphosphorylated tau protein (Duyckaerts et al., 2009; Bloom, 2014), and enhancement of neuroinflammation (Felsky et al., 2019).
