Intraocular lens tilt and decentration in secondary ciliary sulcus implantation in paediatric eyes: A 3‐year prospective study

The purpose of this study was to compare the tilt and decentration of one-piece anti-vaulting haptic intraocular lenses (IOL) and three-piece C-loop haptic IOLs in paediatric eyes undergoing secondary IOL implantation into the ciliary sulcus. Paediatric aphakic patients receiving either one-piece anti-vaulting haptic or three-piece C-loop haptic IOL implants into the ciliary sulcus were enrolled in this prospective non-randomized interventional study and followed up for 3 years.

Publication delays and associated factors in ophthalmology journals

Discussion This study evaluated the article publication speeds of peer-reviewed ophthalmology journals in 2020 and explored the relationships between publication delays, impact factors, and AOP and OA status. The median times of SA, AP and SP of all ophthalmology journals were 118.0 (IQR, 74.0–185.0) days, 31.0 (IQR, 15.0–64.0) days, and 161.0 (IQR, 111.0–232.0) days, respectively. Negative correlations were observed between the impact factor and AP and SP.
