This retrospective study identified all patients with recurrent craniopharyngioma who underwent surgical resection via either EES or TCS at the Tangdu Hospital of Air Force Medical University from January 2013 to December 2023. The inclusion criterion included patients who underwent reoperation with pathologically confirmed craniopharyngioma. Patients were excluded if they had undergone only one surgery, had incomplete imaging data, or were lost to follow-up.

Introduction Orbital meningiomas account for about 2% of all meningiomas and are divided into primary and secondary tumors (1). Primary orbital meningiomas originate from the arachnoid layer of the optic nerve sheath and represent 30% of all orbital meningiomas (2). Secondary intracranial meningiomas typically originate from the sphenoid ridge and invade the orbit, intracranial space, and intraventricular space, accounting for approximately 70% of orbital meningiomas (3).
