With the development of animal husbandry and aquaculture in China, veterinary antibiotics (such as tetracycline and flavamide antibiotics), heavy metals (such as Cu, Zn) and As are widely used as feed additives in livestock. However, these substances are usually not fully absorbed and metabolized by animals, and most of them are discharged into the environment through urine and faeces in the form of raw drugs, posing a risk to human health.
