1. Introduction China has undergone rapid urbanization since the late 1980s [1]. Statistics from China’s National Bureau of Statistics indicate that the urbanization rate in China has grown rapidly from 17.9% in 1978 to 64.72% in 2021. Massive rural-to-urban migration has flooded most Chinese cities as regulations on internal migration have been slowly relaxed [2]. The number of migrants in China has increased from 6.57 million in 1982 to 281.7 million in 2016 [3].
