STRENGTHS AND LIMITATIONS OF THIS STUDY This study analysed a diverse population in a universal free healthcare system using routinely collected data. Population diversity strengthens generalisability, though the birth country may not fully reflect ethnicity. Routine data collection ensures consistency and reliability, allowing large-scale analysis. Medical history may not capture all conditions due to reporting variations and recall bias.

Incorporating the health of migrants and refugees into universal health coverage is pivotal for enhancing the overall quality of their lives. Such an inclusive health system not only improves public and global health outcomes but also enables migrants and refugees to contribute more effectively in positive and sustainable societal and economic development [1].
