Dimethyl phthalate (DMP), a prevalent plasticizer found in plastic products and cosmetics [1], has been detected in natural water at levels reaching micrograms per liter (μg/L) [2]. As an endocrine disruptor, DMP has the potential to disrupt the synthesis, secretion, or metabolism of natural hormones, leading to adverse effects on reproductive health and sexual development, among other risks [3], [4].

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare professionals have consistently been vulnerable to contracting viruses, necessitating the use of closed medical protective clothing (MPC) for optimal safety [1]. However, prolonged use of MPC in high-intensity work environments can lead to substantial sweat production.
