1. Introduction The management of antibiotic wastewater is challenging due to its large-scale discharge, which can be quantified in millions of liters per day globally, and its notable resistance to degradation, with some antibiotics exhibiting half-lives extending over several months under environmental conditions [1,2,3,4,5]. Conventional treatment methods such as adsorption, coagulation, membrane filtration, and advanced oxidation processes have distinct limitations [6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13].
