Late-Stage C-H Diversifications with Ambiphilic α-Bromoboronates: Versatile Access to Transformable meta-Boroalkyl Scaffolds
Introduction Click to copy section linkSection link copied! The direct functionalization of distal C–H bond is highly challenging, but of great practical relevance in molecular chemistry. (1−12) During the past decade, meta-C(sp2)–H functionalizations have been elegantly achieved by the use of templates, (13−19) transient mediators, (20−29) non-covalent interactions, (30−33) or steric control. (34−37) These approaches mainly proceed via two-electron manifolds under palladium or iridium catalysis.
Precision targeting of β-catenin induces tumor reprogramming and immunity in hepatocellular cancers - Nature Communications
Abstract First-line immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) combinations show responses in subsets of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients. Nearly half of HCCs are Wnt-active with mutations in CTNNB1 (encoding for β-catenin), AXIN1/2, or APC, and demonstrate heterogeneous and limited benefit to ICI due to an immune excluded tumor microenvironment.

Computational studies reveal structural characterization and novel families of Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici effectors
Abstract Understanding the biological functions of Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici (Pst) effectors is fundamental for uncovering the mechanisms of pathogenicity and variability, thereby paving the way for developing durable and effective control strategies for stripe rust. However, due to the lack of an efficient genetic transformation system in Pst, progress in effector function studies has been slow.

Combined PD-L1/TGFβ blockade allows expansion and differentiation of stem cell-like CD8 T cells in immune excluded tumors - Nature Communications
Abstract TGFβ signaling is associated with non-response to immune checkpoint blockade in patients with advanced cancers, particularly in the immune-excluded phenotype. While previous work demonstrates that converting tumors from excluded to inflamed phenotypes requires attenuation of PD-L1 and TGFβ signaling, the underlying cellular mechanisms remain unclear.
M-shaped beam profile output from an off-axis relay-imaging eight-pass Nd:glass laser preamplifier
1 Introduction Ultrahigh-power/energy solid-state Nd:glass laser facilities are highly desired for a wide range of applications, such as high-energy-density science, inertial confinement fusion, and astrophysics [1]. Generally, these laser facilities consist of a fiber-based front-end system, preamplifier system (PreAMP), main amplifier system (MAS), and final optical assemblies [2–5].
A 4.8-kW high-efficiency 1050-nm monolithic fiber laser amplifier employing a pump-sharing structure
1 Introduction High-power fiber lasers have been widely applied in the fields of industrial processing, military defense, and scientific research, owing to high average power, conversion efficiency, and beam quality, and good robustness [1–3]. Short-wavelength fiber lasers attract much attention in spectral combination and non-linear frequency conversion [4–6]. The spectral combining technologies use broadband laser sources for medium output power.
Failure behaviour of SiC/SiC composites with Si/ Yb2SiO5 and Si/mullite/ Yb2SiO5 EBCs in wet oxygen at 1350°C
Abstract Two structured ytterbium monosilicate environmental barrier coatings (Si/Yb2SiO5 and Si/mullite/Yb2SiO5-EBC) was prepared on SiC/SiC composites and their performance in wet oxygen at 1350°C was investigated. After 300h's corrosion, coating peeling occurred for Si/Yb2SiO5-SiC/SiC, while it was intact for Si/mullite/Yb2SiO5-SiC/SiC system due to the mullite intermediate coating well alleviating the thermal expansion mismatched stress.

An Amine-Assisted Ionic Monohydride Mechanism Enables Selective Alkyne cis-Semihydrogenation with Ethanol: From Elementary Steps to Catalysis
The selective synthesis of Z-alkenes in alkyne semihydrogenation relies on the reactivity difference of the catalysts toward the starting materials and the products. Here we report Z-selective semihydrogenation of alkynes with ethanol via a coordination-induced ionic monohydride mechanism.
Electrooxidative Rhodium‐Catalyzed [5+2] Annulations via C−H/O−H Activations
Abstract Electrooxidative annulations involving mild transition metal‐catalyzed C−H activation have emerged as a transformative strategy for the rapid construction of five‐ and six‐membered heterocycles. In contrast, we herein describe the first electrochemical metal‐catalyzed [5+2] cycloadditions to assemble valuable seven‐membered benzoxepine skeletons by C−H/O−H activation. The efficient alkyne annulation featured ample substrate scope, using electricity as the only oxidant.
