Universal selectors from two-dimensional materials
Tunnel junction selectors based on five vertically stacked layers of two-dimensional materials can deliver high nonlinearity, robust endurance, fast switching speeds and low device-to-device variability, and could potentially function as a common access element across multiple memory technologies.
Efficacy and safety of bevacizumab plus XELOX in patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic neuroendocrine tumors
Abstract Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are highly vascularized malignancies for which effective treatment options remain limited in the unresectable locally advanced or metastatic setting. Although platinum-based chemotherapy has demonstrated antitumor activity in advanced NETs, evidence supporting its combination with antiangiogenic therapy remains insufficient.
Guiding the Application of Immunotherapy in Nonsmall Cell Lung Cancer: The Role of Biomarkers
1 Introduction Lung cancer represents a significant global public health challenge, as documented by the World Health Organization (WHO), due to its high mortality rate. Approximately 15% of lung cancer cases are classified as small cell lung cancer (SCLC), whereas the remaining 85% are categorized as nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) [1]. NSCLC encompasses various histological subtypes, including squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, and sarcomatoid tumors, among others [2].
Closely related ST11 Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates with transient attenuation and re-emergence of carbapenem resistance during prolonged hospitalization: a case report
Abstract Background: Apparent transitions in carbapenem susceptibility among sequential Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates are often interpreted as strain replacement. However, phenotypic variation among closely related isolates may also produce similar phenotypic shifts, particularly in heavily treated patients.
EV-derived miR-1246 promotes lymph node metastasis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma through targeting the PPP2CB/NF-κB axis
Abstract Background: Lymph node metastasis (LNM) is a critical factor contributing to poor prognosis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) patients. Consequently, elucidating its molecular mechanisms and identifying effective therapeutic targets have become a paramount challenge in clinical practice. Methods: Plasma samples were systematically collected from healthy individuals, ESCC patients without LNM, and those with LNM.

Testicular organoid models in male reproductive toxicology: advances, applications, and future perspectives
Abstract Male reproductive health has declined markedly over the past decades, with environmental chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and lifestyle factors implicated in this trend. Conventional toxicological approaches—rodent bioassays and two-dimensional cell cultures—suffer from species-specific biases, limited physiological relevance, and inadequate throughput for screening the expanding universe of suspect compounds.
Mechanical Characterization in Red Blood Cells Using Optical Tweezers: A Review
You are already at the latest version Given that red blood cells (RBCs) are the most abundant cells in blood, their morphology and mechanics strongly affect blood rheology. Furthermore, changes in the physiological functions and health status of an organism can also affect RBC mechanics. Therefore, understanding the mechanical properties of RBCs holds substantial research value in the biomedical field.
An effective descriptor for predicting and designing high-temperature ambient-pressure superconductors
Abstract Searching for ambient-pressure conventional superconductors with critical temperatures (TC) higher than 40 K is a key challenge in the field of high-temperature superconductivity, mainly due to lack of efficient and effective models for rapidly screening candidate systems.

Charge-triggered switching mechanism in selenium selector enabling ultralow leakage current - Nature Materials
Abstract The rapid growth of artificial intelligence models has outpaced the capabilities of current dynamic random-access memory/flash storage systems in speed, density and energy efficiency. Three-dimensional phase-change memory offers a scalable solution, yet cross-point integration is limited by selector performance. Here, by reverse-tracing previously reported ovonic threshold switch (OTS) materials, we identify amorphous elemental selenium as a highly effective OTS selector.

NAD+ Enhanced Mesenchymal Stromal Cells Effect on Muscle Atrophy by Improving SIRT1‐Mediated Mitochondrial Function via NAMPT
1 Introduction Sarcopenia is a syndrome associated with aging and characterised by reduced muscle mass, decreased strength and/or physical dysfunction. The prevalence of sarcopenia in people over 60 years of age in China reaches up to 14.7% [1]. Sarcopenia leads to impaired balance and endurance and increases the risk of frailty, falls, osteoporosis and fractures [2, 3], which contribute to all-cause mortality in the elderly [4]. However, there are no specific treatments for it [5].

The Applicability of Two Generative Adversarial Networks to Generative Plantscape Design: A Comparative Study
1. Introduction Plantscape is an important part of the urban environment. The design of plantscape merges art and science to create visually appealing, functional, and sustainable spaces that harmonize with the natural surroundings. In this field, flower border design is particularly representative. A flower border is a dynamic planting scheme that combines perennials, annuals, bulbs, and shrubs to create a visually stunning and ecologically balanced garden feature [1].

Advances in Material‐Assisted Electromagnetic Neural Stimulation
Bioelectricity plays a crucial role in organisms, being closely connected to neural activity and physiological processes. Disruptions in the nervous system can lead to chaotic ionic currents at the injured site, causing disturbances in the local cellular microenvironment, impairing biological pathways, and resulting in a loss of neural functions.
Behind the Scenes: Transforming cloud security with MLOps
In the intricate world of cloud security, do you believe traditional rule-based detection methods are enough to combat the constantly evolving cyber threats? For example, take the password spraying threat, where threat actors attempt to gain unauthorized access by systematically trying a few commonly used passwords across numerous accounts. To capture these anomalies, our initial approach involved monitoring for a sudden surge in failed login attempts surpassing a defined threshold.

Boosting the hydrogen evolution reaction on NiTe monolayers via defect engineering: a computational study
Boosting the hydrogen evolution reaction on NiTe monolayers via defect engineering: a computational study† Herein, we explored the feasibility to boost the HER catalytic performance of two-dimensional (2D) NiTe by defect engineering. By means of comprehensive density functional theory (DFT) computations, we revealed the structures, stability, electronic properties, and catalytic activities of different defective NiTe nanosheets towards the HER.

Let‐7a promotes periodontal bone regeneration of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell aggregates via the Fas/FasL‐autophagy pathway
1 INTRODUCTION For periodontal bone regeneration, tissue engineering based on stem cells has been introduced.1 As a type of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMMSCs) with self-renewal and multipotent differentiation capacities2 have become the predominant seed cells used for bone tissue repair.3, 4 Although numerous animal experiments have revealed that BMMSCs repair damaged periodontal bone tissue,5-7 the effects are still limited.
