NirFAP680: a highly bright and stable large Stokes shift near-infrared fluorogen-activating protein
Abstract Near-infrared (NIR) genetically encoded fluorescent tags are superior for new imaging capabilities ranging from multiplexed imaging to deep-tissue imaging. Here, we describe the development of NirFAP680; NirFAP680 is an NIR fluorogen-activating protein (FAP) that consists of a newly designed NIR fluorogen termed HBMT and an engineered protein tag termed NirFAP.
TUBB2A related epilepsy: novel variants and genotype-phenotype correlation
Abstract This study delineated the clinical phenotypes of epilepsy patients harboring TUBB2A variants and explored the pathogenesis of novel variants in HEK293T cells. The clinical data of 5 epilepsy patients in our cohort and 23 epilepsy patients from published studies carrying TUBB2A variants were evaluated. TUBB2A-FLAG and TUBB2A-EGFP plasmids were constructed to investigate the functional implications of TUBB2A variants.

Abstract Colorectal cancer (CRC) exhibits distinct bacterial community compositions compared to healthy mucosae, which intimately correlate with CRC clinical outcomes. There is a lack of explanation for the inducements of microbiota remodelling. FISH experiments and 16S rRNA sequencing were conducted to determine the inducements of various bacterial colonisation within tissues. Community cultivation was conducted to estimate the capacity of tumours to remodel bacterial communities.
