K-State baseball's road to Omaha ended in Charlottesville over the weekend, losing both Super Regional games to Virginia. The Cats finished the 2024 season with a 35-26 overall record. Friday night was the annual K-State Night at the K, with Avery Johnson and Austin Moore representing the Wildcats. Johnson was also able to meet up with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes during the game.

The Wildcats bow out of the NCAA Tournament after a pair of losses in Charlottesville Kansas State baseball's season has come to a close following a 10-4 loss to Virginia in the Super Regional round of the NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats fell behind in the first inning after a pair of runs put the Cavaliers up 2-0 but were able to tie it up after scoring single runs in the first and second innings.
