What was your first job as a journalist?
Working as a social media producer at The New Daily.

No.
How is social media changing news?
It is having a tremendous effect on the way we consume it.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means the world to me, I love telling stories and sharing the fantastic feats of others with the broader community.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use Microsoft Word, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Cloud
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter for sure.
Who do you wish followed you?
LeBron James.
Why did you become a journalist?
Because I love telling stories and keeping people informed.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
We did not have a newspaper, would have loved to work there if we did.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
The story I am most proud of is a feature I wrote on up and coming basketballer Jade Melbourne.
When's the best time to pitch you?
All the time, I feel I am a fantastic reporter that can adapt to all situations.
What's your favorite drink?
Love a nice cocktail.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Out playing sport.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
I would have to say the Herald Sun.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That I am just a sports writer.
