SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah Steel have won back-to-back games as they top the Greensboro Groove Friday 91-82 from Enmarket Arena. Harvard alumnus Harmoni Turner dominated from the opening jump. Turner ended with 29 points, marking a new career best in the Upshot League. Just three points shy of her all-time professional-high of 32 in France in 2025. Harmoni also added 10 boards to complete the double-double. She was also 5-9 from beyond the arc and a perfect 8-8 on free throws.

Steel Forward, Zee Spearman spearheaded a demolition of a performance by the Savannah bench, outscoring the Groove 52-8. Spearman had 19 points and nine rebounds in the win. “I think she’s starting to figure out the physicality,” said Head Coach Coretta Brown. “She’s getting better every single day.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Behtesda Academy’s Christopher Wright put pen to paper on Monday to run college track. Wright is headed to Valparaiso Univeristy in Indiana. The Blazer blazed his way into back-to-back state track meets claiming both the 110-meter (15.50 seconds) and a two-time state champion in the 400-meter hurdles (1:00:29).
