Zakir Ali Tyagi’s Biography

Zakir Ali Tyagi is an Indian journalist who is known for reporting on hate crimes and expressing political views. He was arrested in 2017 for criticizing the government for which he was imprisoned for 42 days. He was arrested for the second time in 2020 for which he was imprisoned for 16 days and for the third time in 2022 he was expelled from the district for 6 months. He raises the voice of the oppressed and deprived Muslims, Dalits and Hindus.
