TEMPE, AZ — Parents remain without many answers in the wake of the arrest of a former Tempe Union High School District employee and the subsequent voyeurism investigation at Corona Del Sol High School, sparking calls for transparency and a third-party probe. The district told parents a camera was inadvertently left running in the school's dance room while it was being used as a makeshift locker room, capturing students in "various states of undress," according to a police report.

TEMPE — A grand jury has indicted a now former Tempe Union High School District surveillance officer on eight counts of voyeurism. The suspect, Antony Cruz, originally faced seven charges after he was arrested by Tempe Police on Saturday, Aug. 22. Cruz is accused of downloading security footage of female students in a make-shift locker room at Corona del Sol High School while working for the district. The students were in ‘various states of undress,’ according to a police report.

TEMPE, AZ — The Tempe City Council is back from recess, and the new members say they have heard citizens loud and clear. Councilmembers Bobby Nichols and Brooke St. George spoke with ABC15 ahead of their first regular meeting about what they hope to accomplish.
