OKC Thunder big man Chet Holmgren isn't going anywhere this summer. Despite OKC receiving numerous calls regarding the forward's availability, general manager Sam Presti has slammed that door shut. This headstrong approach, however well-intentioned, is in direct conflict with Presti's self-proclaimed philosophy on running the team, and it may be a crucial mistake given the sizzling market for stars this offseason.

For weeks now, one of the main storylines of the offseason for the OKC Thunder has revolved around whether or not the club would pick up guard Lu Dort's team option. They did so just before Monday's deadline, and, with free agency looming, it turns out it may be an even smarter move than previously advertised. For a while now, young sharpshooter Cason Wallace has been thought of as Dort's predecessor.

It's hard to believe San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan is the third-longest tenured head coach in the NFL. To some fans, it feels like only yesterday when the young play caller took over the coaching carousel that had plagued the Niners for much of the 21st century.
