Army Strikes Drone Deal With Firm

Teledyne Technologies Inc. has nabbed an $11.2 million contract with the U.S. Army, the Thousand Oaks-based firm announced. The contract, awarded by the Army’s Capability Program Executive for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense, will require Teledyne to produce around 45 CBRN sensor drone kits for the military.

Guitar Center Closes HQ Sale-Leaseback

Coming off a major debt restructuring, musical instrument retailer Guitar Center has sold its Westlake Village headquarters to a cohort of investment firms for $19.3 million. Beverly Hills-based Arise Investments, Oak Park Investments in Westwood and Nebraska’s Nelnet Real Estate Ventures acquired the 98,086-square-foot warehouse property in an off-market sale-leaseback deal.
