Abstract Cisplatin-based neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) followed by radical cystectomy (RC) is the standard treatment for eligible patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC). However, the comparative effectiveness of gemcitabine/cisplatin (GC) and dose-dense methotrexate, vinblastine, doxorubicin, and cisplatin (ddMVAC) in routine practice remains insufficiently defined, particularly in broader real-world populations that include patients with regional lymph node involvement.

1. Introduction Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the second most prevalent cancer worldwide and has the third highest mortality rate. In Poland, CRC is the second most common type of cancer with respect to prevalence and mortality [1,2]. According to estimates, 1 in 35 women and 1 in 22 men can develop CRC during their lifetime, and the number of new CRC cases per year is estimated to increase from 1.9 million in 2020 to 3.2 million in 2040 [3].
