Ecological water requirements and the water–carbon–economy coupling in rubber plantations: estimation and optimization in Southwestern China
Abstract The mountainous region of Southwest China, as a globally significant rubber-producing region, faces the critical sustainability challenge of balancing ecological water requirements (EWR) with the water–carbon–economy (WCE) nexus. Large-scale rubber cultivation has driven economic growth, water consumption, trade-offs between socio-economic and ecological objectives.
Integrated soil fertility assessment system for tobacco cultivation: A case study in Honghe prefecture
Abstract This study developed an integrated soil fertility evaluation framework for flue-cured tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.) cultivation by combining indicator screening, weighting, and quality assessment methods. A three-stage analytical procedure was applied to 6,349 soil samples collected from 2011 to 2021 across seven counties in the Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture (Honghe Prefecture).
Lethal clinical outcome and immune desert contexture in refractory gastric cancer harboring CCNE1 amplification and overexpression
Abstract The epithelial-mesenchymal axis frames gastric cancer heterogeneity but mainly captures phenotypic extremes. CCNE1 gain, encompassing amplification or Cyclin E1 overexpression, represents one intermediate state linked to chromosomal instability and therapeutic resistance. However, its clinicopathologic identity and immune features in gastric cancer remain insufficiently characterised.

Association of non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio with all-cause mortality and cardio-cerebrovascular disease mortality in elderly patients with cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic syndrome stages 0–3: a coh
Abstract Background: Cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic (CKM) syndrome typically involves multiple metabolic dysregulations. The non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (NHHR), as a novel lipid metabolism biomarker, has been demonstrated to correlate with risks of mortality, metabolic syndrome, and chronic kidney disease. However, the relationship between NHHR and mortality risk remains unclear in elderly populations with CKM syndrome stages 0–3.
