Abstract Fully connected quantum networks enable simultaneous connection of every user to every other user and are a highly versatile and robust networking architecture. However, the scalability of such networks remains a great challenge for practical applications. Here we construct a large-scale fully connected quantum network founded on two-photon Hong-Ou-Mandel (HOM) interference, where user-to-user security is guaranteed even with an untrusted network provider.

Abstract Quantum key distribution (QKD) provides a promising solution for sharing information-theoretic secure keys between remote peers with physics-based protocols. According to the law of quantum physics, the photons carrying signals cannot be amplified or relayed via classical optical techniques to maintain quantum security. As a result, the transmission loss of the channel limits its achievable distance, and this has been a huge barrier towards building large-scale quantum-secure networks.

Abstract We proposed a data acquisition method to monitor local oscillator (LO) intensity in real time in unidimensional continuous-variable quantum key distribution protocol.
