To the editor: Autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) remains a cornerstone strategy for patients with high-risk or relapsed/refractory lymphoma. Although carmustine, etoposide, cytarabine, and melphalan (BEAM) is widely recognized as the standard conditioning regimen, post-transplantation relapse remains the primary cause of treatment failure. Recent evidence [1, 2] suggested that simply substituting traditional cytotoxic drugs has reached a therapeutic bottleneck.
