The built-in electric field across FeN/Fe3N interface for efficient electrochemical reduction of CO2 to CO - Nature Communications
Synthesis of Fe−N based precursor Firstly, the commercial Ketjen (KJ) carbon (0.1 g) was suspended in water (H2O, 50 mL) by ultrasound. Then, a mixture of iron (III) nitrate hexahydrate (Fe(NO3)3•9H2O, 0.01 mol, 4.04 g) and urea (CH4N2O, 0.1 mol, 6.00 g) was added into the carbon suspension and continued ultrasound for 8 h.
